Tanya Amason Bio

Salon owner, stylist and creator of The Authentic Perspective Tanya Amason used her own experience as both a booth renter and commission stylist to build a completely customizable framework that provides the tools and guidance to help hairstylists take ownership of their career and take the necessary steps to achieve predictable results.

With 15+ years experience as a booth renter, Tanya had to learn a lot on her own, including navigating how start over in a new state knowing no one to co-owning an incredibly successful salon that has helped her gross $285k behind the chair, and she has trained stylists and assistants to do the same.

Her approach has not only worked for her, but for the stylists and assistants in her salon. She is able to provide predictable and repeatable results using her signature approach, and has the experience to back it up.

As someone who always had the desire to teach and share information, Tanya has a deep desire to help others succeed, and found that her own experience and expertise could be useful to hairstylists that are looking for growth and success.
